Short summary

  • Ufkon is a platform that connects the anonymous project requests of solar energy investors with installer (EPC) firms whose documents have been checked; it does not run tenders or auctions.
  • Several firms with checked documents can unlock your project request; each firm can unlock a request only once. You message the unlocking firm within the platform; asking for bids is optional.
  • Investors and approved installer firms can also open material requests; approved suppliers unlock the contact details of a request by spending credits and message within the platform.
  • The deal is made off the platform, directly between you and the firm. Ufkon does not install, takes no commission, does not handle payments and is not a guarantor of the work between the parties.
  • In case of false information, fake project requests or abuse, content may be removed and your account or role may be suspended.

1. Parties and scope

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between Ufkon ("Ufkon") and the members who use the platform at ufkon.com. Contact: (postal address will be added before paid sales start; written requests: info@ufkon.com) · [operator details to be added] · destek@ufkon.com · KEP none · Tax identification number: —.

You can use the platform in these capacities:

  • Investor: a natural person (individual) or a legal entity / merchant (corporate) creating a project request for a solar energy project.
  • EPC (installer firm): a firm whose documents have been checked and approved, which unlocks project requests by spending credits. The EPC Membership Agreement, the Credit Sales Terms and the Unlock Refund Policy also apply to EPC firms.
  • Supplier and engineering firm: a firm whose documents have been checked and approved, using paid additional services open only to approved firms (subscription, sponsorship, etc.). An approved supplier can also unlock material requests by spending credits (section 2.7); the Credit Sales Terms apply to these unlocks. The price, term and cancellation conditions of these services are shown separately before purchase. The Terms of Service for Engineering Firms also apply to engineering firms, and the agreements shown and accepted on the application or purchase screen apply to paid additional services.

One account (umbrella account) can hold more than one role. Each role has a separate dashboard; one role's data is not shown on another role's screen.

2. How the platform works

  1. The investor creates a project request. The request is published anonymously, with contact details kept hidden; the location is shown approximately.
  2. An approved EPC firm unlocks the request by paying the credit price set according to project size and shown at the time of unlock. The unlocking firm sees the investor's name, company, contact details, address and uploaded documents.
  3. There is no upper limit on the number of firms that can unlock a request. Each firm unlocks a request only once; firms in the same corporate group count as one firm. The investor sees every unlock in the request file.
  4. No messaging is possible between the investor and a firm before an unlock. After the unlock, the parties can exchange text messages within the platform.
  5. If the investor wishes, they ask firms for bids; giving and receiving bids is optional. Bids on the platform are non-binding preliminary offers; bid comparison tools provide auxiliary information only.
  6. The agreement, contract, payment, installation, warranty and distribution company processes are carried out off the platform, directly between the investor and the firm.
  7. Material request: an investor or an approved EPC firm can open a material request for solar energy system materials (panels, inverters, mounting, cables, batteries, etc.). The request is reviewed before publication; after approval it is shown to approved suppliers with the contact details kept hidden. A supplier that unlocks the request by paying the credit price shown at the time of unlock sees the requester's name, company, contact details, district and private note, can message within the platform and may leave a non-binding price quote. The unlock rules are the same as for project requests (one unlock per firm, firms in the same group count as one firm, no upper limit; a request of your own company or group cannot be unlocked). Ufkon does not sell materials, hold stock or handle payments and is not a guarantor of delivery.

3. Role and limits of the platform

Ufkon does Ufkon does not
Check firm documents as of the time of the check Install, sell equipment, or give workmanship guarantees or warranties
Verify e-mail addresses and check for duplicate registrations Become a party to or guarantor of the contract between the parties
Provide in-platform messaging after an unlock Take commission, handle payments or hold escrow accounts
Review unlock disputes under the published rules Vouch for the accuracy of bids, the fairness of prices or the outcome of the work

Document checks and badges on the platform are not a guarantee of a firm's technical competence or workmanship. Capacity and yield calculations are approximate preliminary estimates and do not replace an engineering calculation. You are advised to do your own research before choosing a firm.

With respect to user-generated content (project request descriptions, messages, profile information), Ufkon acts as a hosting provider; it has no obligation to check such content in advance, but when notified of unlawful content it reviews the content and removes it where necessary.

4. Membership and account security

  • The information you give at registration and sign-in must be accurate and up to date. Accounts are opened by e-mail verification or (when enabled on the site) with supported social accounts.
  • Do not share your sign-in details or the verification codes sent to you with anyone; you are responsible for actions taken from your account.
  • You set the permissions of team members you add to your account; the umbrella account holder is responsible for actions team members take with those permissions.
  • A project request cannot be created with an account registered as an installer, supplier or engineering firm (an approved EPC firm can open material requests only). Unlocking or bidding on your own project request, through the same identity, tax number or corporate group, is prohibited.

5. Investor terms

  • Fees: a set number of active project requests at a time is free (free concurrent allowance). Publishing a new request while that allowance is full or renewing an expired request is subject to a listing fee; the fee is shown including VAT before payment. While the platform has no payment facility open, no listing fee is charged; during that period, if the free concurrent allowance is full, a new request can be created once one of the open requests closes. For individual (consumer) investors, the pre-contract information form, the distance service agreement and the right of withdrawal exception notice also apply.
  • Sharing of contact details: when you publish a project request, your contact details and documents are shared with every approved firm that unlocks it, for this project only. Once you close your request, no new unlocks are possible; your conversations with firms that unlocked earlier may continue. For a material request, your contact details, district and private note are shared with every approved supplier that unlocks it, for this request only.
  • Accurate information: the information in your request (contact phone, location, consumption and project details) must be accurate. If you enter another person's phone number as the contact phone, it is your responsibility to inform that person of this sharing.

6. User obligations

Everyone using the platform agrees:

  • Not to create untrue, test or unauthorised project requests on behalf of others.
  • To use contact details obtained by unlocking only for the related project; not to call, write or pass them on for any other purpose.
  • Not to share insults, threats, harassment, misleading content, unsolicited bulk messages (spam), off-project advertising or other people's personal data in messages.
  • Not to attempt to disrupt the security or operation of the platform or other users' access; not to collect data with automated tools.
  • To respect intellectual property rights, personality rights and applicable law.

7. Security, quality and moderation measures

To protect the platform against fraud, fake requests and abuse, Ufkon evaluates account, device and transaction records through automated means and human review. In this context:

  • Content or messages may be placed under review, not published, or removed.
  • Account or role functions (publishing project requests, unlocking, messaging) may be restricted; an account or role may be suspended or closed.
  • These measures rest on objective grounds such as breach of these terms, the published rules or the law, false information, security risk or suspected abuse.
  • A decision to suspend or close your account or role is notified to your e-mail address with its reasons, except where delay would be harmful (security, suspected fraud, an order of a competent authority). You can object to the decision at destek@ufkon.com; your objection is reviewed by an authorised person other than the one who made the decision.

You can report unlawful content through the reporting tools on the platform or to destek@ufkon.com. Orders of competent authorities are complied with.

8. SAMPLE content

Project requests and profiles published to show how the platform works are clearly labelled "SAMPLE", do not belong to a real investor or firm and cannot be unlocked; no credits are spent on them.

9. Intellectual property

  • The Ufkon name, logo, interface, software, graphics, templates (e.g. the standard bill of quantities summary) and texts belong to Ufkon or its licensors. Using the platform gives you only the right to use these for the platform's intended purpose.
  • Content you upload belongs to you. By uploading it, you allow Ufkon to use it to the extent needed to provide the service (storing, displaying, sharing with unlocking firms). You confirm that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.

10. Limitation of liability

  • As Ufkon is not a party to the contract, installation, payment or warranty between the parties, it is not liable for damages arising from them. Disputes between the investor and the firm are settled between them.
  • The platform's liability under these terms is limited to direct damages; indirect damages and loss of profit are excluded. For firms, the cap in the EPC Membership Agreement also applies.
  • These limitations do not apply to damages caused by the intent or gross negligence of Ufkon. The statutory rights of consumers are reserved.
  • The platform is operated with reasonable care to run without interruption; short interruptions may occur due to maintenance, security updates or infrastructure providers.

11. Personal data

Your personal data is processed in line with the KVKK privacy notice and the privacy policy. You can exercise your rights on the Privacy and my data page of your dashboard or with the KVKK request form.

12. Changes to the terms

  • New versions of the terms are published on this page; earlier versions are kept.
  • Material changes to your detriment are not applied to you unilaterally: the new version is shown when you enter your dashboard and your approval is requested. Until you approve, paid actions such as buying credits and unlocking stay closed; your existing rights are protected under the earlier version.
  • If you do not accept the new version, you can close your account at any time.

13. Termination

You can close your account from your dashboard or request its erasure. Records that must be kept by law (invoices, payment, unlock and consent records) are kept for the relevant period. Ufkon may close an account for serious breach of these terms under the procedure in section 7.

14. Contract text and notices

  • The version you accept is recorded with its date and version number; you can reach published versions from this page and print or save the text.
  • Notices to you are sent to the e-mail address on your account or as dashboard notifications; notices to Ufkon are sent to destek@ufkon.com (KEP: none).

15. Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkiye.
  • Consumers may apply to the consumer arbitration committee of their place of residence or of the place of the transaction within the announced monetary limits, and above those limits to the consumer court after completing the mandatory mediation step.
  • For disputes between merchants, the Istanbul (Caglayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction. If the other party is not a merchant, the general rules of jurisdiction apply.
